Respectable CNKI customers,


We pay great respect to domestic and overseas customers for your great supports and kindness to CNKI. In the past years, however, some of CNKI mainland cards were used beyond the authorized area, which harmed the interests of other customers. In order to protect the benefits of all customers and to continue providing qualified services, as of today, CNKI will take technical means to limit the serviceable range of CNKI Cards, namely,


1. CNKI mainland cards will only be used and recharged in the Mainland of China, and can only be accessible to the registered accounts in CNKI domestic website(www.cnki.net). If a domestic registered account will be used overseas temporarily, it may open a kind of roaming service overseas for 7 days each time and 3 times each year.

2. CNKI overseas cards will only be used and recharged out of the Mainland of China, and can only be accessible to the registered accounts in CNKI overseas website(oversea.cnki.net).


For overseas customers who still hold CNKI mainland cards and intend to transfer it to overseas cards, please contact CNKI overseas services for assistance(services@int.cnki.net). Moreover, new customers in need of long or short term of CNKI overseas services are welcomed to fill a registration form as below for a period of free trial service.
